Royan Institute, established in 1991 as a limited surgery center, provides medical services to infertile couples, conducts research, and offers education in reproductive sciences and infertility.

Today, Royan Institute has evolved into an international research and technology hub. It is now a pioneer in advancing science, technology, and innovation in life sciences, stem cell research, and reproductive medicine, and has changed into an effective center for improving public health.

Royan Institute conducts its research, educational, and clinical activities through three research centers: Royan Research and Technology Institute of Stem Cell Biology, Royan Institute for Reproductive Biomedicine, and Royan Institute of Biotechnology.

It also operates three specialized service centers: Advanced Infertility Treatment Center, Cell Therapy Center, and Diabetes Clinic. The strategy 'From Science to Application' is in practice across all the above centers.
