One of the key initiatives that has significantly contributed to transforming Isfahan into a leading hub for health tourism in the country is "Isfahan Healthcare City." This complex, with a total area exceeding 316,000 square meters, was inaugurated in 2017 as the largest medical center in Iran.

The project is planned to have four phases (parts). The first phase includes 36 specialized and subspecialized clinics, a pharmacy, a health hypermarket, a travel agency, a bank, a restaurant, parking facilities, and other service areas.

The second phase encompasses paraclinical centers such as laboratories and a rehabilitation center. A comprehensive cancer center, equipped with the most significant cancer diagnosis and treatment facilities in the Middle East, also operates in this phase. It utilizes the most advanced medical equipment available worldwide.

The third phase of the project is a four-star hotel, currently under construction. It intends to provide high-quality services to patients traveling to Isfahan from various parts of the world for medical treatment.

The fourth phase is the construction of a 1,000-bed hospital, which, upon completion, will change 'Isfahan Healthcare City' to the most significant medical hub of the country.

Finally, 'Isfahan Healthcare City' is also establishing a Health Tourism Department, which, with the assistance of both international and domestic consultants, intends to implement a specialized plan to organize and develop this industry in Isfahan. It is believed this will make Isfahan a prominent health tourism destination.
