Isfahan Petrochemical Company was established in 1989 on a land with an area of 220 hectares at an elevation of 1,720 meters above sea level adjacent to Isfahan Oil-Refining Company, with the aim of implementing the country’s first aromatics production project as a private joint-stock company by the National Petrochemical Company of Iran. The feedstock for this complex, platformate, is supplied through pipelines by Isfahan Oil Refinery.
